Seriously?!?!

Weren't we just getting in to the holidays like a minute ago? Anyhow I'll keep this one short and say that while I'm personally not much of a holiday guy in the church/festivities sense I do love the season as it tends to bring people together and I'm all for that-especially these days.

Thanksgiving is, bar none, my favorite day of the year for a multitude of reasons-not the least of which is that I have much to be thankful for. I'm thankful for my (relative) health, a spouse I adore, a career I enjoy, a great home, amazing friends, good wines (see nearly any photo I've ever shot), a super rad Labradoodle, and a caring family (who I'd love to see more).

I'll be photographing a few holiday events this year and I'm pretty happy about that. One of the things I enjoy most about taking photos is capturing moments in time and it's even better when those images get printed out in actual tangible things. It's a great reminder of where we were, who we knew, what we were doing, and how young we all were. Life moves pretty fast (feel like that's from a movie?) and taking time to appreciate it is a beautiful thing. If that's something you'd like for your group or event I've still got a few dates available.
